I have been writing stories since college and I am always learning more about what makes a good story that people really enjoy reading. I earned a Masters in English from the University of Virginia and have used my writing skills in my corporate work, my non-profit work, and my fiction and non-fiction writing.
Right now, I am working on two short pieces. One is a story about premonitions and how to deal with them and the other is a memoir essay about a particularly momentous weekend in my youth, when I determined a path forward for myself.
The two longer pieces I have been working on for a while are entering new phases. I will finish the novel this year. I am doing more research for the non-fiction piece, interviewing key people in the story and visiting the locations where much of the story happened.
